Middle School - Program Overview

Our Middle School program is designed to help students reach higher in their learning journey. We expect students to participate in all classes, keep their materials organized, and track all their assignments. At the Middle School level, every class has assigned homework.

Morning Block includes instruction in Discipleship, Composition, Literature, Grammar, and Public Speaking.  Students have regular homework in all disciplines covered in this class. Students should expect to spend a minimum of 45-90 minutes per day on their homework.

Some Afternoon Classes merge with Elementary classes while others merge with High School. These classes provide opportunities for Middle Schoolers to mentor younger students in the Elementary Program while also being mentored by High School students.

Because everyone develops and learn at a different pace, we offer 9th grade as a "swing year". Students in 9th grade may participate in either the Middle School or High School program. If you need assistance deciding what's appropriate for your 9th grader, email [email protected].
