CO-OP WIDE REQUIRED TEXTS
Be sure to pay attention to the description of each publication to know whether that publication is required for each student to individually own, or required for the entire family to have one copy.

Long Story Short – Posted 1/29/25
Budget for: $15-22 This is a required text for all families, as this will be the text for our discipleship component for Morning Block in grades PreK-9. Each family one need purchase one copy of this text, and it is not necessary to bring it with you to co-op. This is intended to use at home as follow-up to what is discussed during class. |
Bible – Posted 1/22/25
Budget for: $10-40 All students in all classes need to have and bring a Bible to class. Preschool & Kindergarten excluded. Preferred translations include: ESV, NIV, NKJV For the purposes of using the Bible for classwork, please no paraphrase versions such as The Passion Translation, The Message, etc. (While these have awesome uses, it's not what we are looking to use for school.) Please also no "children's versions". |
IEW Student Resource Packet & Binder – Posted 2/26/25
Budget for: $25 This is a required text for every family to own and share among students. Students should bring this to class. Since only one sibling can use it at a time, and language arts classes happen concurrently, classmates can easily share this resource in class. If your family has used IEW in the past, and you already own an older version of the Student Resource Packet that used to come spiral bound, you may use that instead of purchasing this new one. |
REQUIRED SUPPLIES FOR GRADES 1-9
2 Inch Binder – Posted 4/3/25
All Co-Op Students, Grade 1-6, need ONE 2-INCH BINDER to organize their class information into. All Co-Op Students, Grade 7-9 (Middle School Students), need TWO 2-INCH BINDERS to organize their class information into.
ALL BINDERS need to be in good, sturdy shape. They should have rings that close completely, and have clear pockets on the front. |
Plastic Binder Dividers With Pockets – Posted 4/3/25
Every student binder needs to be equipped with a set of Plastic Binder Dividers with Pockets. Students may reuse these from previous years as long as they are still in good shape. These binder dividers are widely available, but we have provided you a purchasing link for your convenience. You may choose to purchase a different brand from what is linked (and consequently a different color scheme), but please ensure the dividers you purchase are plastic and that they have pockets. |
Binder Supply Pouch – Posted 4/3/25
Each student binder should be equipped with a zipper pouch with the following supplies in it:
Please no handheld pencil sharpeners. The co-op has an electric sharpener for your use.
All families are expected to check backpacks and binders on a regular basis throughout the school year to ensure that each student maintains the appropriate supplies in their binders and pouches. |
Preschool
Nap Mat – Posted 2/27/25
Budget for: $15-30 All children in the Orange Room will need a nap mat. Here is a link to purchase an affordable nap mat.
If you are creatively inclined, you might choose to make your child's nap mat. Here is a link to a tutorial. If you would like to offer this as a service to other preschool families, please post in the preschool forum. |

Budget for: $29 (combo), $19 (student only) INDIGO CLASS - GRADES 5-6 We highly recommend all parents purchase the Teacher book to make correcting easier. If you have more than one child in this class, you will need to purchase additional Student Books, so each of your children have their own copy. Click here to purchase the Teacher/Student Combo. Click here to purchase the Student Book only. As this level is the most age-appropriate choice for this class, we have chosen to repeat it for a second consecutive year. That may mean you student will be repeating the same book, and that is ok! Rest assured they will continue to learn and progress, even in repeated material. (This might also mean you won't need to purchase the Teacher Book again.) |

The Chronicles of Narnia – Posted 1/29/25
Budget for: $40 PURPLE CLASS - GRADES 7-9 The last 4 books of this series are required reading for the 2025-2026 school year, and purchasing a boxed set is the most economical way to get all the books. (Prince Caspian, Voyage of the Dawn Treader, The Silver Chair, The Last Battle) If your family already owns these books, it is not necessary to purchase additional copies. Each family that has one or more student enrolled in Botany needs to purchase one textbook for the family to use.
